HOW DO CASCO FX HELP ME SAVE MONEY?
Casco FX buy the currency in bulk from the market at “wholesale rates” and then pass on the price benefit to our clients. This could save you thousands of Pounds (depending on the amount you purchase). In addition to this our charges are significantly less than your Bank, typically saving up to £25 per International Payment. What’s more, our experienced Account Managers will help you get the most for your money by monitoring the exchange rates so you don’t have to.
HOW DO I PAY FOR MY TRANSACTION?
In order for us to process your transaction and send money to your beneficiary, we need to receive your payment first. You can pay us by Bank transfer directly into our segregated client account with Natwest Bank plc. You will receive the specific Casco FX Bank account details in your confirmation email when you book a payment. With these details, you can process your bank transfer from your internet banking or directly from your branch. We have all currency accounts, so whether you sending money from Europe or UK we can receive funds in most currencies. If you live in Europe, you can also process your payment to our UK bank account. In this case, you need to process a SEPA bank transfer. Local Bank transfers and SEPA transfers are free with most major Banks. We advise you to process your bank transfer using your online banking platform.
We usually receive your deposit on the same day but it could take longer according to the currency sent. For instance, GBP transfers arrive within a few working hours, whilst EUR transfers can take 1-2 working days.
HOW WILL YOU DELIVER THE MONEY TO MY BENEFICIARY
All funds are sent by electronic Bank transfer to the account details that you have provided to us. Those account details to which we make payments will be stored on our system so if you wish to make a payment to the same Beneficiary more than once you won’t have to relay all the details to us.
HOW LONG WILL MY TRANSFER TAKE?
This depends on how quickly your funds take to reach us. Once your funds have been received and cleared, we will send out the requested currency to the Beneficiary Bank account within 24 hours. Most transfers will either be sent on a same or next working day service however, bear in mind different currencies and time zones vary the time for the funds to reach and be cleared by the designated bank.
WHY DO I NEED TO PROVIDE MY ID?
Like Banks and other financial institutions, Casco FX follows strict Anti-Money Laundering guidelines and regulations. We may need to ask for supporting documents in order to process your transfer. The process and our compliance requirements are different depending on whether you are intending to open a private account or a business account. Please speak to one of our Account Manager for further information.
HOW DO I KNOW THAT MY MONEY IS SAFE?
We take the security of client funds at Casco FX very seriously. We are authorised by the Financial Conduct Authority under the Payment Services Regulations 2009 for the provision of payment services. We are also regulated by HM Revenue & Customs (HMRC) as a licenced Money Service Business (MSB). In addition we comply to the highest standards of Anti-Money Laundering and Compliance to protect the business from the proceeds of crime, terrorist financing and money laundering.
